about me
My family and I love being outside exploring nature as well as different cultures and communities. I have always felt a strong desire to balance my prayer and work-time with outdoor adventure and activity. I find that striking a good balance here is vital for truly living and applying the spiritual ideas I'm learning.
Being of service has been an important aspect of my life for a long time. This desire led to activities like tutoring, coaching, teaching Sunday School, as well as serving in the Army. Each of these activities, but specifically the military service, significantly shaped my understanding of God and His unbreakable divine laws. It was there that I began to understand that this prayer-based system of healing that Mary Baker Eddy discovered and named Christian Science is the most significant thing in the world, for all mankind. Since then, my desire to serve has been focused on bringing this Science of the Christ healing to bear.
I genuinely feel that this Science of Christ healing is perfectly poised to help humanity to feel and see God's love and law in action. Since 2008, I have dedicated my full time and attention to the healing practice of Christian Science and am now teaching students how to effectively pray for themselves and others.
After nine years as a lecturer with The Christian Science Board of Lectureship, in 2019 I was appointed to serve a three-year term as Second Reader for The Mother Church in Boston, Massachusetts. In June of 2022 my family and I relocated back to Idaho where I continue balancing a prayerful life of service with new adventures, while actively striving to live this Science of Christ healing.
